Summary:
Fessler & Bowman, Inc. is responsible for the successful bidding of projects, from the initial bid review and analysis through the hand-off from the Estimating Team to the Project Management Team. The Preconstruction Manager is responsible for assisting the Director of Estimating in leading and coaching the Estimating team. In addition to leadership, the Preconstruction Manager is responsible for all aspects of the estimating function, including initial bid analysis through a go/no go review, plan review, subcontractor qualification, assembling bid information, assessment of both winning and losing bids, and maintaining estimating systems to include B2W Estimate and Salesforce. This position shall be supported by the Director of Estimating and the Preconstruction Manager - Civil. This position is also responsible for the creation and execution of the sales strategy for the region including the definition of preferred clients, and target jobs as well as pre-bid and post-bid sales activities designed to win the project.
