Responsibilities
Overview
The Legal Intern will support the in-house legal team at Allan Myers with a variety of legal and administrative tasks. This internship is designed to provide exposure to corporate legal operations, contract review, compliance matters, and legal research. The role will provide hands-on experience in a dynamic, fast-paced construction and infrastructure environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and summarize findings on topics such as employment law, construction law, and regulatory compliance.
- Support the legal team in preparing materials for internal meetings and external communications.
- Participate in meetings with internal stakeholders and external counsel as appropriate.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Qualifications
- Strong interest in corporate law, construction law, or employment law.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a professional environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
