We’re hiring a full-time Assistant Project Manager to support a major project in Virginia. This is a hands-on, on-site role where you’ll work directly alongside experienced project teams, field crews, and leadership — gaining real-world project management experience on high-profile work. Once this project is complete, you’ll have flexibility to either continue with full-time travel/on-site projects or transition into our home office in Kennesaw, GA.

This position is designed to grow into Project Manager, and beyond.

What You’ll Do:

• Support day-to-day project operations alongside the Project Manager.

• Help coordinate schedules, logistics, materials, and subcontractors.

• Assist with project planning, forecasting, cost tracking, and reporting.

• Work closely with superintendents and field teams to ensure safety, quality, and production goals are met.

• Prepare and maintain project documentation (RFIs, submittals, change orders, meeting notes, etc.).

• Communicate regularly with clients, vendors, and internal leadership.

• Jump in to solve issues, anticipate challenges, and keep projects on track.

• Learn directly from experienced leaders in the field to fast-track your career.

What We’re Looking For:

• 1-3+ years of construction or civil site development experience strongly preferred.

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or similar — OR equivalent hands-on experience.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communicator who works well with teams in fast-paced environments.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office; project management software experience is a plus.

• Willing and able to work full-time on-site in Virginia during initial project phase.

• Driven to learn, grow, and advance into a leadership role.
