Position Summary

Plateau is seeking a skilled and dependable Crusher Technician to support the setup, maintenance, and operation of mobile and stationary crushing equipment. This role ensures maximum uptime, safety, and production efficiency across various job sites.

Key Responsibilities

Inspect, maintain, and repair crushing equipment (jaw, cone, and impact crushers, conveyors, screens, etc.)
Assist with plant setup, teardown, and relocation between job sites
Monitor equipment performance, identify wear, and adjust settings (e.g., CSS) as needed
Perform preventative maintenance including belt tracking, grease/lubrication, and component replacement
Diagnose mechanical or electrical issues and troubleshoot with minimal downtime
Coordinate with loader operators and foremen to ensure steady material flow and safe operations
Maintain a clean, organized work area and ensure equipment complies with all safety standards
Document maintenance logs and report issues promptly

Qualifications

2+ years of experience working with crushing equipment (mobile or stationary)
Mechanical aptitude with experience in hydraulics, belts, jaw/impact mechanics, and electrical systems
Familiarity with Powerscreen, Metso, or similar brands preferred
Ability to read technical manuals, diagrams, and follow SOPs
Must be physically able to lift 50+ lbs and work in outdoor, rugged conditions
Willingness to travel to multiple job sites and work flexible hours as needed
Strong safety mindset and attention to detail
