This position requires 5+ years Project Manager experience in a self-perform environment and expertise in Rail, mass excavation, highways, and/or structures projects. The ideal Project Manager will be familiar with modern delivery methods and procedures and able to coordinate a team of professionals of different disciplines to achieve the best results.

Project Manager Responsibilities:

As a Project Manager, you’ll be responsible for the complete execution of Rail Facilities, Rail Maintanence, Heavy Highway & Heavy Civil projects both public and private.
You will manage a team of Project Engineer’s and associated field management as well as subcontractors and the owner/representatives.
The Rail Construction and Maintanence Project Manager position’s accountability includes, but is not limited to: Pre-construction, project set-up, cost control, scheduling, full P&L responsibility, risk analysis, safety and complete project oversight.

Background Profile

5+ years’ experience in Rail, Heavy Highway & Heavy Civil construction
BS Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent experience
Proven experience in managing projects from cradle to grave
Experience in managing self-perform forces in rail, mass excavation, underground utilities, paving and structures
Exposure to Railroad Construction Management is a plus!
Experience with CPM scheduling in Primavera P6 a plus!
