Equipment Manager (GA)

Plateau Excavation is hiring an Equipment Manager at our Austell, Georgia location. The Equipment Manager is responsible for monitoring the efficiency and optimal performance of the earthmoving fleet.

Job Role:

·        Supervise shop and field technicians.

·        Manage & prioritize repairs (before failure and after failure)

·        Track and analyze equipment performance data using software programs:  VisionLink, Viewpoint, and HCSS E360.

·        Review and approve invoices

·        Review oil sample analysis

·        Inspect Equipment for repairs

·        Track and manage undercarriages

·        Track and manage off-road tires to achieve maximum life

Requirements for the Equipment Manager position include:

• Prefer a current or former Equipment Manager or Product Support Sales Representative - Minimum 5 years experience
• Must have technical knowledge of heavy equipment.
• Must be able to manage a large-scale operation in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to manage employees effectively.
• Must possess strong interpersonal and critical thinking skills.
• Must be a strong communicator with excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Must be willing to work hours required by job and customer demand.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Must be willing to work in office and in the field (job sites)
• Must be willing to travel to job sites out-of-state (as needed)
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Programs.
• Excellent time-management, problem-prevention and problem-solving skills.
• Work accurately with close attention to detail.
• Demonstrate a high level of ethical behavior.
• Must be able to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
