BuildWitt Jobs is a job board that connects job seekers like you with companies that are looking for people who want to work in the Dirt World.

The Dirt World does things like construction, equipment, mining, infrastructure, and utilities. Basically, people in this industry build and mine the things our society needs to survive. Pretty cool, huh?

What kind of jobs can I find here?

You’ll find job opportunities in the Dirt World for all experience and skill levels, as well as options in both the field (outdoors) and front office (indoors). So there’s something for everyone!

Why should I create a BuildWitt jobs profile?

If you’re looking for a job in the Dirt World (AKA heavy construction, equipment, infrastructure, and utilities), BuildWitt Jobs is the place for you. Not only do you know the jobs you are applying for is with a top Dirt World company, but also, with a profile, employers can find you (instead of you doing all the legwork). Plus, you can apply for jobs and sign up for alerts about job opportunities that could be a good fit for your skills and career plans. And it’s all free.

How much does a profile cost?

Nothing!

BuildWitt Jobs is free. No costs, no contracts, no commitments—just an easy way to find your dream career in heavy construction.

Can I keep my profile private?

Yes. Profiles are automatically private.

If you want to let potential employers search for you, you can simply check the box that says "Let Employers Find My Resume".

If you don’t check the box, no worries. You can still apply to the jobs that strike your fancy.

How do I deactivate my account?

We hope you found just the job you were looking for! If you have, keeping your account active can help you find another role if the time ever arises.

Want to hide your account instead of deactivating it? Just hide your resumes, and employers won’t see you.

But, if you’ve found the right match and you’re ready to deactivate your account, just head to your account settings and delete your profile.

FOR EMPLOYERS

Are you recruiters?

We don’t offer the "classic" recruiting services like reviewing applications, screening candidates, helping with interviews, or take part in the hiring process. That’s all up to you!

However, we’re here to help you connect with job seekers and vice versa—and that’s part of what recruiters do. We’ll even send you alerts when we see a candidate's resume that fits criteria like role or location. (You can opt out of alerts at any time)

What should I include in a job posting?

The first (and most obvious) rule is that if it’s not true, don’t post it! Beyond that, here are some great things to include in each job posting:

Information about your company and who you are
Job title
Short description of what that person will do
How much it pays—or a pay range if the pay depends on experience
Other benefits like insurance, 401k, training programs, etc.

How long will my job posting stay up?

Your job postings will stay up for 60 days. After that, we’ll send you an email. You can opt to renew the posting if you haven’t filled the position, or you can let it expire if you’re already filled the role.

Do you post my job listing to any other job boards or universities?

No, your listing will only show up on BuildWitt Jobs and in online search results.

How many applicants can I expect to get?

It depends! The number of applicants you get for a position will vary depending on factors like:

What the job is
Where the job is
How the work, benefits, and company culture appeal to candidates
Whether you share the job posting on social media

As BuildWitt Jobs continues to expand our job seeker base, you will naturally be getting more eyes and applicants on your postings as well.

Can I share the job posting on social media?

Yes. Just navigate to the job and hit the share button. We’ll even give you a few suggestions for posts—so you can choose one that’s pre-made instead of writing it yourself.

How do I search job seekers’ resumes?

First, you’ll need to sign up with an employer account and purchase a subscription package that includes the candidate search option. Then simply click “Candidate Search” in the BuildWitt Jobs navigation. From there, you can filter candidates by location, role, and resume keywords.

How do I edit my job posting?

Just go to “My Account,” click the “Job Postings” tab, and select the job you’d like to edit. Make sure you hit save at the bottom when you have edited the job posting to your liking.

Can I cancel my subscription?

BuildWitt Jobs offers a couple paid add-ons. You can cancel your ATS Integration subscription at any time in your account settings. However, you won’t receive a refund for the current month. You can resubscribe at any time.

Do my add-on subscriptions renew automatically?

Your ATS Integration subscription will automatically renew monthly unless you have a failed payment. In that case, you’ll have five days to update your payment method before we cancel your subscription. (Don’t worry—if your payment fails, we’ll send you an email to let you know.)

When it comes time for your Hiring Ads subscription to renew, we will be in discussion with you beforehand to make sure you want to continue. This subscription will also renew one year after your subscription began.

Can I add some of my teammates to my account?

Yes! You can add as many teammates as you’d like to help you find and screen candidates. Just go to “Company Settings” at the bottom of your profile, click “Add New user,” and enter their name and email. We’ll send them an invite to join you.

How do I contact support for help with my account?
