Soukup Construction, Inc. is a regional excavation contractor that performs site preparation, utility work, sheet piling, and demolition throughout eastern South Dakota. Established in 1963 by Carl and Marietta Soukup, Soukup Construction began with humble beginnings in Scotland, SD, and later found its permanent home in Sioux Falls in 1973. Under the leadership of Carl and Marietta's son Jim, who assumed the role of President in the 1990s, the company has flourished into a dynamic organization with a cutting-edge facility.

Today, with a team of over 100 skilled employees and a fleet of 300 pieces of late model construction equipment, we are known for our expertise in site preparation, utility work, sheet piling, and demolition. Our capabilities include:
